Community Supporters
The project’s story collection process began with papers, pens, and an envelope. Fatima Al-Banawi spoke to people around her in cafes and homes, and arranged visits to small company spaces and universities to explain the project and her motive behind it. Stories gradually began to unfold.
With the growing demand for sharing and reading stories, Fatima’s brother designed and built 6 Story Collection Stations that she today uses to visit more places, and participate in a variety of public occasions and city-wide events.
Certainly, the project wouldn’t have been able to reach as many people and collect as many stories without the support of those community members.
